ABOUT ME

Born July 1, 1991 in Rahway, NJ, Jonathan started his musical career at the early age of eight months old, when he would bang on pots and pans. His parents quickly noticed his passion and pushed him toward it. He began playing drums in the church at 12 years old and by the time he was 16, he had decided to pursue music professionally.  Jonathan joined the jazz and marching bands his senior year in high school and went on to study Jazz and Music Industry at North Carolina Central University.  Since Moving to North Carolina, Jonathan has had the opportunity to play with artists such as Branford Marsalis, Christian Scott (Atunde Adjuah), Akuah Allrich, Marvin Sapp, Benny Golson, Masego, Rapsody, Rakim, Cyrus Chestnut, John Ellis and Kate McGarry just to name a few. He believes that he must use his artistic ability to continue to be an inspiration to others.
